I am here for Friends

About Me

My friends call me Oddy, but the name is Odd, Jason Odd.
Through the day I'm a mild mannered employee at the largest indie label in Australasia. Don't get too excited, I work in local inwards stock control and internal supply for promo product.
I also work as a freelance writer and am currently working on several writing projects. In the past I have helped with background information for books, and CD booklets and box set booklets. Watch for an upcoming Dee Mullins compilation on Omni Record with my notes, as well as an anthology Plantation Gold (OMNI-124) in eary 2009.
For further reference, Jason Walker's Gram Parsons biography 'God's Own Singer,' has quotes on pages 56 & 57 from yours truly, commenting on the west coast country music scene that Parsons immersed himself into on his arrival in the mid 60s.
I'm also a semi-regular contributor for the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame, most notably in the Bakersfield Sound section.
