Tara Maria Famiglietti was born and raised in New York City, in the high fashion world of her mother, aunt and father at their Madison Avenue boutique, Menage a Trois; And her father's downtown boutique, Jenny Waterbags, where he made clothes for such people as Jimmy Hendrix, John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger just to name a few. At a very young age she started creating wire and crystal pieces and by 17 she was making jeweled belts and body jewelry and selling them in Menage a Trois to very high profile clients.
