MAKE LOVE NOT WAR!!!!

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

Hi there!
My name is Yasmin Element and I live in the political (& sex) capital of Australia.
I have worked in the adult industry in one form or another over the past 12 years. I also have a degree in journalism and I am currently working for The Eros Association (www.eros.org.au), Australia's national adult goods and entertainment association.
Established in 1992, Eros is the longest serving adult industry group in Australia and we have earned a reputation for integrity and professionalism in our activities. We seek to bring logical and popular perspectives to love and sex rather than moral or religious ones. 'Make love not war' is the philosophy that we bring to our political debates.
The aim of the Foundation is to encourage a heightened understanding of the adult industry and to promote the rights of those working in and around the adult industry - subject to adequate safeguards for minors. Our day-to-day business has expanded from traditional parliamentary lobbying to publishing a monthly journal called Eros, running Eros Seminars, coordinating regular state trader meetings and organising a nightly news and information service for our members.
My role at Eros is to produce the bi-monthly magazine, EROS, that is distributed througout the entire adult industry, parliament and the media.
It's a tough job being a woman representing an industry that is (incorrectly) thought to be run by men. But it is also the best job in the world.... i can't beleive i get paid to look at porn all day!!!! Although death threats from fundamentalist christian groups is a bit of a downside... :-)You can read some of my stories here: http://www.eros.org.au/index.php?option=com_content&task =category&sectionid=13&id=59&Itemid=72
