About Me

Myspace LayoutsSo let's do introductions, shall we. I am 26, and a diva in my own right. I graduated college with a degree in Theatre and Communications in 2003 and now I am a manager for a world reknown hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. I love my job and I ask myself everyday how did this happen to me? So there is a lot to me, but like all good things, you must wait. Here is a snip-it...Three things that I would defend with my life-my family, my true friends, and my religion. Would you like to know more? Thought so. Just ask me

My Interests

Would I sound like too much of a girl if I said that some of my best past times involve shopping? Not just for myself. I have a very nice job and I love to buy things for my friends and family. Things I love-I love to see movies, live shows, comedy clubs, plays, musicals, nice dinners, and dancing, chocolate, the sky, mascara, lipgloss, wearing a bra, struting( I must say I do strut!), Christmas, my mom's cooking, my sister's laugh, my cell phone when it rings, doing crunches and push-ups, driving, taking a deep breath, men, babies, sand between my toes, taking off in an airplane, packing for a trip, dreaming, questioning my life, and the answers I receive when I'm not even looking. Oh, and I love to dance! Especially Spanish dancing. I also love to be with my family. They are my refuge and my foundation for who I am. They are the only people who truly know who I am.

I'd like to meet:

Ok, folks, lets get down to business. I am always up for meeting new people. Common interests, intelligent conversations, and fun stories always good to share with people. Now in a perfect world I might meet people who have diverse backgrounds and yet common interests. I am a Catholic, college educated, ambitious, honest, wickedly funny, confident, strong, pretty, moral, ethical, kind, good hearted, hard working and intelligent woman looking for persons who mirror most, if not all, of these qualities. Very few people truly get me. It's not hard you just have to be slightly warped to see the hidden qualities. Thankfully I am blessed to have a wonderful boyfriend who gets me in every way. Actually we get each other which in itself is a freaking miracle. Can you believe I am not bored with this one? Those of you who know me know that that is unheard of. Anyway, I do believe that truly good people are hard to find. So here is the challenge...prove me wrong!

Music:

I have a wide range. I love Evanescence, Aerosmith, Vivian Greene-Emotional Rollercoaster, the musical Rent-musical, not the movie-,Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, Train, Norah Jones, Eminem, some of Britney's music-I'm not ashamed to say it-, Mariah, Sting, Beyonce, the Doobie Brothers, the Eagles-Hotel California, Bonnie Rait, Gloria Estefan, Natalie Cole, Karen Carpenter, Rod Stewart, and TRUE Spanish music.

Movies:

Again a vast range-Animal House, Wizard of Oz, all old classic Disney movies-(they remind me of my childhood which was wonderful)-Working 9-5, all James Bond films-(I do love Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan)-, Star Wars-(I prefer the originals)-, Princess Bride, and 10 Things I Hate About You, The Godfather part I and II, The Matrix I, Indiana Jones-(I like that whole damsel in distress thing. Go figure!)-, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Exorcist, The Passion of Christ-(you should all see this movie once)-. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How to Marry a Millionaire-(I like Marilyn Monroe), Bram Stoker's Dracula-(why did they cast Keanu Reeves in this? Who was drunk at casting?)-, Private Benjamin, Spaceballs, The Mirror Has Two Faces, Funny Girl-(gotta love Babs!)-, Something to Talk About, and Pretty Woman. I prefer a good adventure or murder movie to a chick flick and this list is getting too long already.

Television:

I know it's generic, but hands down, Sex and the City. Loves it! Also Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, ER, Judging Amy, Rome, Medium, Law and Order SVU, Dr. Phil, Oprah, and Project Runway or anything on Bravo.

Books:

The Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Five Quarters of an Orange, House of the Spirits, Chocolat, and all issues of Cosmopolitan, Vogue, and In-Style magazines.

Heroes:

My mother for always being there for me, her unconditional love and always being the ..1 supporter of my life. My father for always providing for us, his unconditional love, and his roaring and rare sense of humor which only we can understand. My sister for overcoming such great obstacles of which I will never understand, her infectious laughter, and her kind heart. And finally my boyfriend for defending what he knows in his heart is a country worth fighting for, taking a lot of time out to learn about me, wanting to know more and not change any of it, and for loving me inspite of all of it. They are my life.
