Here are the types of sounds Kurt likes to make with his guitar: plinking, purrring, screeching, whistling, humming, creaking. Some others, too. Here is what I use: Hollow body guitar, flatpick, Seymour Duncan 84-40 amplifier, Radial Loopbone effects loop, Z vex fuzz factory, Pefftronics Rand-O-Matic, Akai Shred-O-Matic, Goodrich volume pedal. Also cheap resonator guitar with Bigsby palm pedals and Sho-Bud Pro III Custom pedal steel.
