skirted Records

Home of adventurous, experimental and anarchic music, based in Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Independently releasing music of: Ditzy Squall [3 piece, messed math, minimal and intense rock. Has performed at the Alleluya noise festival, Punkfest, and The International Jazz Festival]
mr sterile Assembly [agit-rock, continually evolving project based on the solo works on mr sterile. Large band, small band, quiet band, loud] mr sterile [solo recording project, found sound, junk percussion, drum frenzy, all rolled into tunes based on the social and the political. All good fun]
Also, skirted acts as informal, sometimes tour organiser. Shows organised for Limited Express(has gone?) [Japan], Sabot [Czech Republic], Vialka [France], Go Genre Everything [Australia], and Mykel Board [U.S.A].
skirted also has a slowly expanding distro outlet of some very interesting independent music from Finland, Slovenia, Japan, U.S.A, and Canada amongst others.
There are lot's of mp3's availble on www.skirted.net of various skirted artists & skirted disto related artists. All free to download, enjoy!
