About Me

I love my family and friends--couldn't live life without 'em. I LOVE animals and revel in the fact that with 2 dogs and 2 cats, some might consider me an animal hoarder. I like most music...pretty much anything besides country. I enjoy working hard, breaking a sweat, and having something to show for it. I like grilled PB&J (think grilled cheese, but omit the cheese and substitute PB&J--hey, don't knock it till you've tried it). I'd much rather have a Mt. Dew than a cup of coffee in the morning. I like taking naps; especially with the windows open when it's raining outside. I have fun telling stories that make people laugh. I love sexy shoes, stylish handbags and spring/fall-weight coats.I don't like people who are not dependable, who lie or who start rumors. I hate pretty much anything that has more than 4 legs--the more legs you've got, the more disgusting I probably think you are. I hate Crohn's disease. Those cars that have the mufflers that make it sound like you NEED a muffler are rediculous. I don't like being politically correct. I'd rather eat worms than catsup (bleck!). I dislike people who are closed-minded to others points-of-view. I hate having to bundle up in the winter. I don't like that I'm a horrible speller. Feet are yucky.

My Interests

Sterling Silver Jewelry Making, Beading, Knitting, Cooking, Gardening, Decorating my house, Photgraphy, Traveling, Biking, Motorcylcing, Walking, Playing with my Dogs & Cats

I'd like to meet:

Bono for his brains and activism...and Larry Mullin Jr. for his mysterious eyes, smokin' hot bod and the coordination he's got as a drummer...ahhhh, the things he could do to me with all that coordination. YUM-my.

Music:

WAY, Way, way too many to mention...U2 is my all-time favorite, but I like everything from Euro-pop to Classic Rock to Indie to Bluegrass to bands I don't know about yet, but like to check out just to get myself out to see some live music!

Movies:

Pretty much anything "mob-" or Johnny Depp- (yum) related or classic stupid humor comedy...The Usual Suspects, Donnie Brasco, 40 Year Old Virgin.

Television:

I'm a big fan of anything "detective-y" (The First 48, Law and Order) but my new favorite is called "How It's Made." It's like Mr. Rogers for grown ups--rememeber when Mr. Rogers took us to the Saxophone factory and showed us how the sax's were made? It's a whole show based on that. You'd never guess that you'd be so interested in how toothbrushes, Jelly Belly jellybeas, or aluminum pots were made!

Books:

The Alchemist, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, Lovely Bones, The Secret Life of Bees, Titanic Survivor. I'm SUPER behind in the times and am just now getting to read all the Harry Potter books...I'm a Third Year and lovin' it!

Heroes:

The men and women fighting in all of our miliary branches.

My Blog

35W Catastrophe

Yup, I am fine and my family and friends are OK too.  My brother was only 1/2 block away when it fell, so it's a little spooky to think what could have happened if traffic had been moving ...
