HURT MODEL was originally formed in Washington, D.C. by Trevor V. and Bennett Erickson in THE YEAR 2000. Years later, In the Summer of 2005, HURT MODEL officially relocated to LOS ANGELES, CA, where we continue to create music that we love. Since then we have played around town as a duo and booked some shows with awesome bands such as DYSRHYTHMIA, UPSILON ACRUX, BAD DUDES, INTRONAUT, YAKUZA, BLACK MATH HORSEMAN, WE BE THE ECHO, BLOODY ROBOTS, NINJA ACADEMY, and THE ANTARCTICANS. In March of 2007, we met James Barry at a show and he jumped on board. In the end of 2007 we finally felt as though we were a "full band" and set out to record our latest CD entitled "This is You". We finished the fucking thing right before our show with Dysrhythmia on June 20th, 2008.
We are currently looking for any opportunity to play live. If you book bands and shows PLEASE CONTACT US and let us know if you think we might fit the bill for your next show. We are willing to play ANYWHERE.
Please feel free to contact us and let us know what you think. We will be sure to keep you posted on our upcoming shows and stuff like that if you are interested.
