My life so far...
Well, I’ll start it off by saying I am a musician just moved to London in search of success. I used to play in a Beautiful South tribute band called the Beautiful Southmartins and now I play in a new band called Freerun. Our most recent claim to fame so far is that we played for Chris Moyles and the Radio 1 team last November – we're best mates dontcha know! Playing with The Beautiful Southmartins took me up and down the country from Southampton to Newcastle and I have met so many lovely people, and sorry to disappoint but Northerners are much nicer than Southerners… well, certainly Londoners.
This year my musical future lies in playing regular venues in London, with a uni tour planned for the Summer and a big outdoor festival in May. I made some great friends and met some wonderful people last year from the West End (Avenue Q, Mamma Mia, Lord of the Rings [coming soon]!!) and through the Brit School (Kooks, Katie Melua etc). As you can see my passion, heart and soul lies in Music and Performing…
Apart from the glamour of playing music I work for a publishing company as Online Sales & Marketing manager in St Albans... YAWN!!! I have worked for Sky Sports and the BBC in the past as a freelance engineer on sports programmes so more glamour!
As you can tell, I love music and acting, films and cuisine. I have a MASSIVE fear of flying which means I am rooted to this godforsaken country until I meet Paul McKenna who will magic it away. I love my family and hold my friends close.
I hope this myspace thingy puts me in touch with people from my past, I would love to hear from anybody who has known me from School, Music or Television.
