Linn Creek started off as a side project for Jimi Riegerix who was playing drums for a different band at the time, he wanted to be recognized as a guitarist and song writer instead. Over a period of 3 years after band practice he'd go home and plan his new band, writing over 250 songs. In October of 2007 the band he played drums for split up. Jimi booked a one man acoustic show at the Java Lounge for October 6th 2007. On September 1st 2007 he went to the Alice in Chains unplugged show where he stood next to his soon to be lead singer Uriah. Though they only said a few words to each other before they lost each other in the crowd. The next night Uriah's wife knew of a party and Uriah being Uriah didn't want to go, but she convinced him. In walked Uriah and noticed Jimi from the night before. They started drinking and talking about music, influences, what music they hated, and a funny little conversion on Alice in Chains live album, about Layne Staley being drunk singing "Dirt". They hit it off really quick, so Jimi asked Uriah if he wanted to join Linn Creek. Uriah didn't hesitate and joined. Uriah had been searching for a guitar player for quite awhile that he could work well with. They did the acoustic show, It went off pretty well and that was just the start.
They added a drummer and a bassist in November of 2007, quickly released the bassist in December of 2007. And then the drummer quit the band in January after the their first live gig. So it was back to just Jimi and Uriah, the search to fill the spots began again. In this time Linn Creek had to turn down 14 show offers over the next 3 months. Finally at the end of April 2008 they found a new drummer and recorded a 5 song demo. Three of those songs are up, "Bi-Polar", "Closer To Death" and "Eternal Lust". The drummer didn't work out at all, so he was released and Linn Creek had to cancel a couple more shows. Finally out of nowhere came Linn Creek's new drummer Charlie B. "Manson". He was the missing piece to the puzzle, needless to say he was the perfect drummer for them. Learning the entire Linn Creek set in two weeks and had their first show since the hiatus. Charlie brought in an old buddy of his, "Chaz" Tadlock to play bass. Just like Charlie, "Chaz" picked up very quickly as well, he to learned the entire set in two weeks before the next show.
Now all the missing pieces are together. Linn Creek is a Heavy Rock band with that hardcore driven ATTITUDE!!!
