About Me

http://dmsentertainment.tvMusic Producer, Composer, Writer*** Style: Commercial Street (Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B/Reggae (Reggaton)/Gospel)** Aliases: Mista Swisher, Frank Sweet, Mr. Sweet, Your Boy Rick James, Akil Muhammad, Trebarkus, Tha Phunky Phat King, ***I began my career as the radio guy during the breakdancing days. I couldn't dance but I had a big Boombox so I was the guy who provided the tunes. I formed a crew from this called the Shoe Crew. We all wore different types of shoes, I wore Pumas...AN early hook went like " We got our Nikes, our Pumas, and Addidas ...nobody gonna beat us...cause we go on and on and on and on" Kicking rhymes like "Hello party people this DJ Def/if they ever gave a grade to rapping I wouldn't get a F/Everybody wanna be and hang out with me/cause I rap on the mic so viciously/So check out the rhymes that I display/you ain't hearing this stuff everyday/So get on down/We're running your town/cause we're so fresh we like the 3 on the phone we def"... I was the producer of the group, because I used to make stop tapes and create the hooks...A stop tape consisted of taking two decks and repeatedly looping a phrase by recording it over and over (like flashing but using a tape deck). I started doing beats with my cats King B. Poetic in 1990 co-producing Chartese local hit "My posse loves to get chewed". From this many tracks followed and I honed my skills. In 1992, I started doing college radio and had a hit show that reported to Gavin and had many national acts on the show as well as breaking new acts such as Nas, Apache, etc. In 1993 I formed Magus with Wyz and D-Script (Dj Aotobohn). This led to the formation of Pfunkasaurus People which included many Toledo Hip Hop artists. This spawned many things that is still sending shockwaves out through the industry. From there I have traveled and moved and came back...In 1999 ARTILLARY was formed and my style started to truly form...After several years we disbanded and I wish my associates all the love and blessings in the world. I am now Independent. I am building a new ship. I am only allowing true, loyal people are down to come aboard and sail with me. Tired of so many fake, conniving, me first people, this approach is necessary. The goal is not to sell a couple of records and disappear but to create an institution to stand the test of time. Wherever you are trying to go I can help you get there...
