Noone makes me bleed my own blood..

About Me

Well the most common question people seem to ask is what do you do? I've done lots of jobs over the years including acting as a roller-skating disco ghost @ Spooky World, being a retail Diva selling cameras and developing photos, studio photographer, telemarketer extraordinaire, and more. I worked part-time in stage production in the summer for major artists in at popular local venue. 2007 would've been 7 years for me but looks like with my new move that job is history. The people I met and the job perks were priceless I'm really gonna miss that job. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. It's supplied me with some interesting stories to tell my kids someday. In March 2007 I relocated to the Norwalk Ct area to work fulltime @ promotional modeling agency. I do instore promos for fun when time permits. My first love is photography and design so I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things with that project. You can view my photography site @ www.myspace.com/BOP_photo . Hire ME to do something for ya!

I have a nightly routine of cartoon watching that puts me to bed every night. I was southern in my past life I'm pretty sure of it. I'm a believer in the meaning of our dreams. I love hot rods, lowbrow art, classic Hollywood, and rock n' roll music. However I'm way more complex then just what you see on the surface. My style and attitude just reflect whatever is on my plate at that particular moment. Don't assume we won't get along by judging words on a page.

My Interests

Hot rods, lowbrow culture & art, dancing, Las Vegas, old 40-50's musicals, sightseeing in RI, day trips to Block Island, the experience of live performance, bonfires, drive-in movies, going to shows, late nights with good friends, road trips, traveling. I also enjoy theatre, karaoke, retro diners, garage sales, flea markets, Ebay, picnics,Tiki parties/bars, photography, movies, interior design, throwing theme parties, and webdesign. I tend to gravitate toward people that don't care about labels. I like creative projects I can be passionate about. TO SEE A SITE I RECENTLY DESIGNED http://www.redstarauto.com I need a new project to work on since I've had more free time this summer then planned on, anyone got a need for something?

I'd like to meet:

Sometimes I people watch and tend to be quiet. Usually it's because I don't know anyone or I'm not comfortable in the enviornment. I'm not trying to be a snob I'm just waiting for the right moment to speak up. Meeting new people as we get older can be quite a challenge. If your looking for a playmate your barking up the wrong tree.I'm looking for friends with similar interests. If you don't make me laugh we'll never be more then friends anyway. I'm also not gonna list celebrities as who I want to meet either because I've been there done that and I'm not impressed most of the time. Who you are as a person is more valuable then possesions or status. People that aren't always trying to impress you tend to be more honest and interesting people. So just relax and be yourself. I want genuine, no BS, funny, sweet, slightly abnormal people. Yes a girl can have platonic male friends, thank you very much! I like to know what my friends are up to, if you don't like to talk to people don't bother.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

There are many music styles I love Mod/Alt rock, Rockabilly, Punk, Ska, ultralounge, oldies, 70's & 80's, disco, funk, a little bit of everything I guess. I like all music that makes me feel good. My Cd collection cannot put me in any catagory, it runs upside down and sideways of convention and explaination. Don't assume we won't get along because of music taste, I can dig anything. Don't ask me what my favorite band is because I don't have just 1.

Movies:

I love all types of movies as long as they make sense and are well put together. Sometimes I just like girly movies that make me laugh. I love classics. I hate dumb fart joke movies with no artistic merit. I like quirky and dark comedies, I've got enough drama in my life so I need a movie to take me somewhere else and make me laugh. A few movies I thought were great recently were, Shawn of the dead, Over the Hedge, Pirates II, and more. I recently watched "I am Sam" on TV and cried for like 2 hours straight it was very moving. I like a movie that can make me feel something.

Television:

MONK,Monster garage(luv Jesse cuz' he's bad ass) and Monster house(Steve is hot) Simpsons,Family guy, ATHF,Cowboy Beebop, movies on AMC/TCM, MXC, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Las Vegas -the series, Almost anything on TLC I get sucked into, Any of the VH1 "I Love " series-70's+80's. Don't hate me but I like watching interior design shows.

Books:

I've recently started reading again since I'm bored and have nothing else to do. I currently read "Hello to all that" by John Falk. I'm really enjoyed it. The good part is that it's inspiring me to start writing again, now if my computer was in better shape I'd be all set.

Heroes:

Everyone in my life who has ever kicked my ass in gear when I needed it, inspired me when I was uninspired, and loved me no matter what.
