The latest hot artist to come out of the ABK Music and Media camp is 26-year-old rapper Big Boom who hails from the streets of Nashville, Tennessee, also known as “Cashville, Ten-A-Key.â€
Learning early in the game what hard work is and how it can pay off, Big Boom and his first cousin Young Buck (G-UNIT), along with D-Tec, Mafioso, Wicked East, and South 8 Mafia terrorized the Tennessee underground rap world during the early 1990’s.
Being young and reckless and running into continuous problems with the law, Boom’s attempt to run eventually got him incarcerated. Behind bars he watched as his cousin lived out their dreams as a G-Unit Soldier with superstars Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Dr. Dre. Seeing this made Boom regain his focus on music and in 1999 he moved to Newport “Bad†News, Virginia. He was introduced to Ty Gracie by another member of Cru Thik and 6 years later they are ready to make history together.
Under Ty Gracie’s watchful eye, Big Boom has developed his lyrical and performance skills and has just released his first mix tape entitled “Big Boom Theory, This is How I See it, Vol. 1.†The project showcases Boom’s newly gained confidence and amazing and unique rhyming skill set. Watch out – there’s a bad thing coming and the world will feel his wrath!
