I'm very lucky because I already know a beautiful collection of people who are more wonderful than I ever could have hoped for in a group of friends, family, and boyfriend. They're the kind of people who make me smile as soon as they walk into a room, and make the world a better place, just by being who they are.
I would, however, not turn down the opportunity to meet someone famous (but cool).
This is my daemon Erasmus. I'm really looking forward to the realise of The Golden Compass film in December because some of it is set in Oxford so I should recognise the locations!
I don't really accept friends requests from randomers (people or bands) but if you recognise me or genuinely know me, feel free to hit that 'add' button and let MySpace work its magic!
If you were lucky enough to be at the gig in the video below, you'll known how cool the moment is. Johnny and the band stopped right before the final Iris chorus, everyone was screaming, he 'shushed' us all, and then the band, him, and the crowd sing together. Loved it!

I object to being pigeon-holed by my taste in music but if
I think you should keep your ears on:
Red Light Drive (formerly Alansmithee)
Edwin McCain
Alex Band (of The Calling)
Accolade
Matt Pond PA
They can all be found on my friends list if you fancy a listen!
I'm a big fan of live music and waste way too much of the money I don't have on gig tickets. My favourite venue is Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, closely followed by The Zodiac (now The Carling Academy) in Oxford. I fulfilled my dream of going to The Wedgewood Rooms whilst at Uni!
I have no gigs lined up :-(
I used to be really into films but my interest has dwindled over the years. I'm partial to a good chick-flick, comedy or psychological thriller but will watch pretty much anything as long as it doesn't have ghosts or giant spiders in it. I *love* the Bridget Jones movies, Pirates of The Caribbean (helloooo Johnny!) and things I used to watch when I was younger such as Mary Poppins.
The best recent films I've seen are:
Blood Diamond
HAPPY FEET!
Bridge To Terabithia
I am eagerly awaiting the December release of the film adaptation of Philip Pullman's Northern Lights. It's got the US book title and so is called The Golden Compass and stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. I love the books and the play was amazing, so I hope the film lives up to the legacy!
I don't watch much TV but I have a lovely collection of boxsets of shows gone past to keep me going: Dawson's Creek, The OC, Roswell, Alias, and Sex & The City.
Now I'm working I can't watch To Buy Or Not To Buy *sniffle* but am hooked on The Restaurant. Laura and Jess to win!
In my opinion, the best book ever written is Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, although I would highly recommend the rest of the trilogy to accompany it. I'm aware they're childrens' books and that as a Creative Arts with English graduate my favourite book should probably be something more classical but I don't care! If I was allowed to do my dissertation on children's fiction, that's good enough for me! And it can't have been terrible, because I got 68% for it :-)
I love a good bit of chick lit, and anything with a moving (but not too political) storyline. I'm enjoying reading for pleasure now I've finished Uni and am slowly making my way through my pile of books I've been wanting to read for ages!
My parents are my heroes; they're amazing!
