LEO & The Mane

About Me

Leo wrote a couple of ditties after spending a few years learning the piano. He quite liked them. So did his school buddy Alex. They decided to team up. Alex was playing natty Bass-lines and Leo warbled and tinkled over the top. This carried on for 4 years and through 5 drummers until, at work, Leo met and got along with Mr. Chris Gomersall. With a mutual appreciation for good music and an agreed loathing of most modern piles of crap in the charts Leo asked Chris if he was interested in playing along with himself and Alex. This resulted in Chris (a music student at Canterbury College at the time) convincing his college class to record them. For the sessions a young man named Andy was drafted in as a hired gun. He Liked the songs. He stayed. They ended up with a solid demo and usable songs. With the dawning comprehension Leo had a band and after a brief hiatus while Alex "Found Himself" in New Zealand, he decided the world at large needed to hear them...And hear them the world shall!!! Well think what you will about the music that we produce but we play because we enjoy playing.
