About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Contact TablesEternal optimist. My formative years spent in the "fine city" of Norwich (think Delia, Partridge, farmers). I went North looking for something more interesting. My uni days at Sheffield. Then moved to Newcastle. Ph.d at Durham. Escape from academia imminent. The real world will be so much better. Life right now consists of ploughing a slightly monotonous furrow of Ph.D hell. Suspicious of unstable people. I don't sit in and watch repeats of Friends. Getting pissed all the time is over-rated. The best things in life are free (seriously they are, just think about it). Modern Life is Rubbish. I don't believe in an interventionist God so smell the flowers while you still can.

My Interests

whats going on in the world. politics. sports. football. office cricket. people-watching. yoga. tree houses. building my den (ages 7-12). music, gigs. eating bananas. spontaneity. random facts. freaky dancing. art. cities. geography. My Blog

I don't understand it

Communism sucks the life out of creativity and artistic expression. Bearing this in mind I was pretty surprised to find an exhibition titled "British contemporary art 1990-2007 in Beijing capital muse...

Round and Round

There are 10 million bicycles in beijing, and that's a fact. Ok, so I am admittedly not much of a katie melua fan, but maybe she has a point. This city is actually swamped with people riding bicycles....
