With the ancestory background of Guyanese and German, Nicole and Katrice Leidinger are New Yorkers at heart. Born and raised in New York these 22 year old sisters make up the group "Mirra". The name "Mirra" comes from the similiar word "mirror". It stands for a reflection of yourself and as for them being twins the metaphor is simple. Mirra's music will be a reflection of today's women, abling women to relate to the words and vibes of the group. Mirra's music will be targeting the positive vibe of relationships. Too many female artist show the negative side of a relationship, but as we know there are two sides to every story. These girls will give women a side of a relationship that says it is o.k to love ..and love is not always disappointing but embrace it and learn from it and don't change yourself just change your situation. With songs like "I found a good one", "Whateva and the new smash single "I'm so gone"...Mirra will also target men's interest in these young ladies movement because most men want to hear about the positive things they bring to the relationship. These young ladies were born with talent and their parents knew it . They attended and graduated from the prestigious Professional Performing Arts School. While attending Prof. Perf. Arts School they sung in the choir and formed a singing group which lead them to perform at the United Nations, Singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the NCAA Championship Game, the Waldorf Astoria and Amateur Night Showtime at the Apollo" where they won the competition. Currently the twins are working on recording and writing with Rufus Blaque of T.U.G. Entertainment (Marques Houston, Omarion, Mila J, and Young Rome) Cheveda Allen of Che- Vengeance Music (Sharissa Czar Ent.), Soul G & Doc Little ( Christina Aguliera, P.Ditty ) and letting the world hear their music. The girls were featured models for the Today Show as well as playing airline stewards in rap sensation "SHEEK LOUCH" of the "LOX" new video...."Mirra" stays working....they have preformed and participated in numerous talent shows all over N.Y and have won all of them.
