Having grown up being forced to learn the piano by my Mum whilst will by Dad had a mid life crisis and got into everything from Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, and XTC, I've always had a somewhat eclectic taste in music, but in particular I was always drawn to electronic sounds. From early stirrings to guff by Jean-Michelle Jarre and Ultravox, to the lighting bolt that hit me in 1982 when the Taccini wearing breakdancer from down the road proudly played me his brand new 12" vinly copy of Francois Kevorkian's mix of Kraftwerks Tour De France, I always new I wanted to create electronic music. Subsequent years discovering the early nineties house and techno scene only fed my appetite, and as I've grown into some sort of adult life with a gorgeous wife, sensible job and mortgage to go with it, I still make serious time to be involved in electronic music. These days I am writing and recording all shades of material under my own name, and with the following people that I am blessed to know and love: Neville Watson (as Midnight Steppers); Matt Sever (as Den One); Dan Pickering (as BoxFrequency); Paul Barry (as Two Way Transmission). These projects are all here in my top friends list, so check them out if are reading this far. I also do a bit of Djing when I'm forced, but to be honest I'd much rather just goon around these days. I am always up for meeting people with a taste for music with soul, and a sunny outlook on life, so if you've got this far, feel free to get in touch. Peace to the whole wide world, Alex
