A Proper Rum Outfit is Made Up of two North Manchester Rappers (Burkey And Kidder Waldren)

A Proper Rum Outfit Began back in The highschool Years of there lives which was probably 2003ish. it started off with burkey and former outfit member rutter. After spending alot of time recording rap and grime songs in burkeys bedroom the two decided it was time to move onto better things, so they started sending out demo cd's and posting songs on various music websites.

A local mixtape group called "The City Is Ours" came across a demo cd the lads sent in and liked it, so Burkey And Rutter were asked to feature a song on the cd "The City Is Ours Volume 2" and the song they recorded was "Bring it Down" altough iff you were to buy that cd now the lads were featured on the cd as "North Mani's Finest" because the name "A Proper Rum Outfit" Didnt come about till later on.

more or less straight after the cd dropped Burkey formed a tight bond in collage with an old school freind "Kidder Waldren" who also had a quiet history in making music through highschool. The Pair Decided to record a song in burkey's bedroom called "whacked" over an old grime Instrumental. after sending it around the estate and getting alot of positive feedback they decided they should re record the song over an original production in studio quality. so the 3 mc's (Rutter, Burkey and Kidder Wadren) booked out there very 1st Studio Session in a manchester based studio called "80 Hertz" and recorded a 3 song demo!

we would spend months then recording songs, doing shows, Live Sets and getting radio play. after almost a year to two Years of this routine one member decided it was time to call it a day on the music front and wanted to work to his university course only.

so after losing a member the outfit continued there routine, and grew tired of it as there were 100's of rappers and mc's also compeating in the exact same race. So they decided to take a brand new approach to it all, Wich is why yuo no longer see us constantly pushing songs over myspace or standing on market street selling our music (thats not meant to disrespect to people who do this, if that is your approach then fair play to you). we cant give you to much info on what where actually doing right now but what we can say is we have an album due out this year "2009" and we promise it will be nothing like you have ever herd before (even tho you have probably hurd that before)

(Alot of other good things other than this has happend to the outfit over the years, but this cocky mank cannot be bother going into detail here is a quick run down (New York City,europe, Radio one, One Xtra, Lots of Big Performances, Music Videos etc etc etc)
