About Me

I can only finish a cup of coffee at night. I'm often impulsive. I'm insightful. I take life too seriously. I believe breathing, water and Rilke can solve any problem. I'm impatient. I have a thing for brown eyes, humpback whales and aspens. Old cynical men tend to inspire me. I was a nomad in a previous life.
"Metaphysics is the center of all experience. That man (and WOMAN!) who does not live in awe of something outside himself or herself is dead. The experience of drama is one of those moments in which a human being sits in awe, wonder, and admiration of something outside of self."
-William Ball

My Interests

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meaness,
Some momentary awareness
comes as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!...
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each as been sent
as a guide from beyond.
-Jalaluddin Rumi

Going away is an interesting thing.  It shows you all the places in your life that are void of a true purpose.  All the gaping holes.  I think this is because it causes you to pause lon...

I tend to gravitate the most intensely toward people who create the most conflict in me.  Not their fault of course.   Maybe I just don't know what to do with life unless its full of fr...
