Ben Middleton

Hello One and all. My name is Ben Middleton. I'm a Drummer and Percussionist from North Yorkshire, UK.Over the past 14 years I've covered styles from Jazz, Swing, Marching and Concert Bands to Folk, Pop, Rock, Blues and Funk. I have a rich experience of playing gigs across the UK and as far away as Sydney, Australia where I recorded with the greatly celebrated BREWSTER BROTHERS of THE ANGELS fame.More recently I have been involved in education, teaching drums to people of a variety of ages and backgrounds. I like to approach my drum teaching from a fun 'band playing' point of view as well as upholding the fundamental principals of basic reading, understanding and ofcourse Rudiments. Love 'em or hate 'em they are the building blocks of drumming!My most recent band project has been with Indie/Pop group BLUE JUPITERS. Managed by Mike Heaton of EMBRACE, we have gigged up and down the country and produced some fantastic and exciting music that I am very proud of.
