About Me

Live at Vlam in de Pijp, Amsterdam

Rotem Perach, born in Ramat Gan, Israel. In recent years been rotating between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv. His debut album, 'Glow', took shape during his stay in Amsterdam where he performed regularly for a year (Paradiso, De Nieuwe Anita, Theater de cameleon, Occii etc.) 'Glow' introduces ten songs featuring Rotem's gloomy electric guitar and Tom Kellner's classic yet neurotic cello. Each song presents a part of an ongoing dialog, with positions shifting between contrasting raw emotions; Weakness and strength, holding and needing, despair and hope, all lead to a recaptured feeling of uplifting sadness. The album is available for purchase via Basement records: www.basemnt.com
Rotem is currently recording his second album, 'Blend', with Esther Viola (oboe) and Tom Kellner (cello). To be released by the end of 2009.
