Dj, remixer, records producer, label manager...Philippe rodriguez was born in january 1969 at Marseille from France and he likes the electronic music since the beginning of the Eighties. It's in 1989 that it becomes resident first large Club House of the area Rhone-Alpes in France:
The Factory and will mix at the Centrale, the Zoo (Independance Club) then celebrates the Space from Lyon (France) and this up to the year 2003.In 1992, philrodriguez realize his first vinyl with the Club Factory and he create logically a first Label Geckoo Records in 1994.
The second 12 inch of this Label: Dj Phil Rodriguez - ''Repetive'' & ''Tribute'' will be to play by the biggest DJ' s: PhiPhi,
Yves De Ruyter… and will become Hit in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy… This tracks will be compiled many times on goodness compilations Serious Beats 17, Cherry Moon 5 etc…Its meeting with his friends at this time Marco Bailey, Maurizzio to allow him to go played and mixed accross popular Clubs (Boccaccio, Dreamland, Glass Fabric...) and evening to the internationnal.From 1996 to 1998, Phil Rodriguez becomes the Artistic Director of the Label Independance Records and carries out the tracklistings for the compilations Ultra Techno, he also signs and take licences for the label of the artists like BBE, R.O.O.S, Camisra…Today, philrodriguez organizes a very new structure Global music Group with this friend JD Catelan, for welcome and carry out new French Labels of electronic musics. The famous project 2 Guy' S On The Rock with Laurent Chanal will be released on a new Label to create especially for an electro progressive and New-Beat style:
