Since 2003, Valtiel "The Wicked Sorcerer" has been turning a childhood passion for music into a career. Pioneering "Dreams Fade Entertainment" with mentor and creator Archangel in 2004, he has began making a name for himself through various collaborations and compilation albums alongside best friend and fellow IVS (In Visible Silence) duo member 5150. Known for a dark, yet intelligent form of fast rap, he is often recognized for thought-provoking lyricism while keeping up a rhythm few can contend. Every verse is a story with words carefully crafted to blend and create a poem, instead of a traditional bar format. In 2007, he announced his forthcoming mixtape "Tha Wicked Sorcerer" which will be available for free to download on dreamsfade.com this spring. Recording has been completed and is now working closely with DJ Mystical One on a duet album due out later this year. Simultaneously, he is working on his masterpiece "Dark Days And Never" which is being produced by long-time friend, Miami producer DJ MJY. Already building a cult fan base, Valtiel is carefully planning its release and has collaborated with platinum artists such as Lord Infamous (of 3 6 Mafia fame). The first and only to do so outside of Memphis. Valtiel has also worked with former world freestyle champion Eyedea (Rhymesayers Entertainment) and is the first artist to have collaborated on a rap verse with him since 2003. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona but not identifying to any sound/region of rap, the ambient/dark/experimental 21 year old has managed to do more without even having an album than many people in his position do in their careers. Everything comes from deep within and that's what sets Valtiel apart from the sea of others. Originality, creativity, passion, and a willingness to give back as well as the leadership to move forward is what will make the empire a success. And to the people that have set it back, remember you started the fire. And you will burn in it.
