I feel trapped in this life and frustrated by the helplessness bestowed upon us by the selfishness and greed of generations that went before. It is sad to see us repeating this error, leaving future generations to fend for themselves in an overpopulated, used-up world. But this machine was set in motion long ago. As individuals, there is nothing we can do to stop it. We can hardly keep from contributing to the problem ourselves. But we lack the strength and courage to band together for a revolution. So drive your Escalade to the mall, buy a Starbucks latte, listen to your iPod, and shut the fuck up when the world goes to hell. Recycling the occasional plastic water bottle and re-using your paper grocery bags will not save the planet. Wanna save the planet? Get yourself spayed or neutered (so to speak).
