I love my life

About Me

Lisa and her little dance

Hey, It's Cory. I'm a student at Northern Illinois University, majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science which I'm using to help catapult me into Med school. I want to go into Forensic Pathology but the future's never set so we'll see how the ball rolls. I just had my gallbladder out so I'm trying to get my energy back. When I'm not working (Dreyer Medical Clinic), all I ever seem to have the time to do is study or go to class, which is super not cool. Uh, what else. I love to stay active. Snowboarding, skateboarding, martial arts (Rocky's Dojo and Gym), parkour, all that fun stuff. I think of myself as a very creative person, but I like to be very original at the same time. Expressing ourselves is one of the few things left that we can control, and no matter how we express ourselves, we shouldn't look to other people for their acceptance. I'm Luthern and a very strong believer in God. My biggest fear in life is not that of dying, but what happens after we die. Hell would probably be my biggest fear. I mean, I love my life. If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to leave until I have visited every country on this planet and have seen every culture and their individual traditions and done everything in this world I want to do. I especially want to visit Italy, Greece and Rome. I love Greek and Roman culture, in particular their scupltures, architecture, and just basically all Roman and Greek art. My dream would be to one day go to Sicily, which I'm going to do as soon as I get the chance. Life is such a precious thing, and we should seriously cherish every day like it was our last. Thats about it, accept that music is also another huge part of my life and I don't think anything will ever change my love for musicI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

The Starting Line*Cheek To Cheek*Bound to say something, eyes closed, It's cold, and I'm home I feel like nothing again, Pretending not to care, but I care, And I care, don't say another word Our time was worthless, and I tried We started over and over again, as we let go We held each other, held hands, Held standards and grudges That's when I let you know, I guess that goes to showJust what I've been going through, More nights of hugging my pillow, oh Replaying memoriesSing this song for me; And tell me how you'll never leave my side I'll meet you at 7 I miss you already, goodbye to you (The last goodbye, I'll never say to you)Time was worthless, and I tried We started over and over again, as we let go We held each other, held hands, held standards and grudges That's when I let you know, I guess that goes to showSing this song for me; And tell me how you'll never leave my side I'll meet you at 7 I miss you already, goodbye to you the last goodbye I'll ever say to youAnd I tried so hard, And I've done my part, And not to mention most of all of yours Try and feel, Try and listen, Try and think of what you're missing, Try to look into my eyes. LANCE ARMSTRONG. I personally think everyone should look up to this man. The things that he has done for cancer research and the publicity he's brought to cancer awareness is super amazing. Even after surviving from three different cancers, and when doctors told him he had less than a 50% chance of living, he was able to overcome these obstacles and become one of the most well known Americans in history. And you can't forget about the Livestrong bracelets. In the first year, millions of bracelets were sold, with all the profits going towards cancer research. With the bracelets selling at only a dollar a piece, thats millions of dollars he was able to raise for cancer research. I know first hand what it's like to lose a family member to cancer, and because of Lance Armstrong, we are that much closer to finding cures for cancer. Whether or not you think he's a great athlete, you have to be able to respect the man for what he's done
