Melannie & Scott

Once in a Lifetime

About Me

First of all we are NOT swingers! We are recently engaged and just bought our first home. Scott owns his own production business (television commercials) and is the production coordinator at Barney and Friends; and Melannie is a consultant working in the health care industry. We love music, games, being at the lake and having a good time. We like to be crazy and are always the life of any party - and we like to party!

My Interests

The world in all it's wonders... if that includes Texas Hold-em and Magic the Gathering.

I'd like to meet:

Ian McCulloch, Bono and Madonna. We'd also like to have a conversation with Jesus or Ghandi. If you're not famous it is required that you at least be interesting and fun.

Music:

Echo and the Bunnymen, Crowded House, Robyn Hitchcock / the Egyptians, Cold Play (where's your new album Chris?), The Smiths (recent comeback on my playlist), Travis, The Doves, Artic Monkeys, Black Eyed Peas, MADONNA (Melannie just adores her highness), Zero 7, Charlie Robison (fantastic Texas songwriter), The Fixx, Level 42, and I guess U2 still counts.OH YES! and David Bowie.

Movies:

We like anything with historical fiction. Scott is a Monty Python fan and Melllie is a sucker for vampire movies. We also dig the Will Farrell movies - he's just too damn funny. SHAKE AND BAKE!

Television:

Very, very little.Sopranos, Sex in the City, Six Feet Under.

Books:

Lord of the Rings, Narnia and Dan Brown for Scott. Harry Potter (as Scott always says, "I got hair on me balls." ) and Anne Rice for Mellie.

Heroes:

Mellie's hero is Madonna - any girl who gets what she wants all the time must know something. Scott's heros are FDR, Ian McCulloch, Ghandi and Jesus.Insane Little Drummer Kid
