Chuck Star Project started in 2007 with one thing in mind. To help people have the time of their life no matter where they are. This band explodes on stage when coupled with the barely restrained energy of the band members themselves.
It all started when lead vocalist and guitarist Chuck Star wanted to do something a little different than his usual schtick. So a solo cd was mixed, mastered and all instrumentaion (the song on the page now is off that cd) done by himself. Now he needed to get a live band in place for a few CD Release shows then off the the world of "cover band land" Not to be confused with Candyland....that was only a game geez.
Craig Baker, formerly of Rust and Leftwitch, was the first to be added to the roster to share guitar duties. After answering a post on a local message board Cris "Rexx" Brumberg who's last endeavor was Manlishi, a judas priest tribute band, was brought on for drums. On bass and vocals is the humble yet mighty Jerry Smith formerly of Drophammer and currently in Madison Ivy.With over 30 years of collective time and knowledge members of the band have shared the stage with Buckcherry, Metal Church, Prong, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Warrant, Bad Company, Mudvayne, Corrosion of Conformity, La Guns the list goes on and on.
SO whats their purpose you may ask? In a word...Entertainment.
What should you expect? Sweat, laughter, off the wall rants, and occasional bad notes. Their show demands nothing short of a night of everlasting memories and your attention.
