Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability. --John Wooden

I'd like to meet:

cool people with flexible ambition and assertiveness, a competitive spirit, and a love of the outdoors, sports, music, art/lit and travel.

Music:

Willy Porter, Jack Johnson, Pete Yorn, Adam Record, R.E.M., Johnny Clegg, Eminem, Kanye West, Undershade, Nora Jones, Alison Krauss, Damien Rice, Coldplay, Elvis, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Dwight Yokam, George Strait, Ronnie Milsap, Armstrong (check out my friend John's profile)...

also, random ferry guy (that i met while traveling in AK) who wrote this rather crude song (Jack Black/ Jimmy Falon esque) about the exploits of our classic tv favorites (i.e. MacGyver, Duke boys, Knight Rider, A-Team)...

I cant believe that we would lie in graves
Wondering if we had spent our living days well
Dreaming of things that we might of been --DMB

Movies:

Back to the Future, Shawshank Redemption, Apollo 13, Cast Away, Perfect Storm, Swingers, Casablanca, Great Expectations, Rounders, Miracle, Rudy, Tin Cup...

Television:

24, Seinfeld, Sports Center, The Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel (they should hire me to shoot videos like the ones I took (below) at Anan Creek near Wrangell, AK-- July 2004)

Books:

Currently Reading-- 911 Report, Current favorite periodicals- Wall Street Journal (required reading for Law and Ethics class), National Geographic

Heroes:

--Steve and Terri Irwin-- they lived their life together with a very admirable passion for each other, each day and every thing they encountered. Steve's work ethic, zest for life/ family and positive spirit lept out of every screen and photo that held his compelling image. He is truly missed. Here's to Terri's 'prince,' the Wildlife Warrior.

--Lindsey Jacobellis-- because my first time snowboarding (Mt. Rose; Reno, NV) looked like this (and she's hot):

--these people-- this is how i enjoy dancing-- sitting and watching. i've never seen funnier. video recorded at a bar in Whitehorse, Canada (Yukon Territory)-- summer 2005.

--people who get creative with holiday family gatherings-- my brother, my cousins (Kevin and Brett) and I went bale running on Christmas Day 2003.
