About Me

Well, where to begin the sordid tale that explains who I am...my name is Travis, I'm 25 - gettin old gettin old tick-tock tick-tock - I'm a musician. I play a few different instruments but drums and percussion have always been my forte. I started playing when I was 8. Most people would go through and tell you where they went to school and what they did and what they majored in but I say NAY! I will tell you of he who is me! I'm a Scorpio, basically what that means is that I will sleep with you then kill your whole family. I'm extremely perceptive and normally make instant decisions on the quality a person's character - and I'm almost always right. I love kids and normally dislike adults. I'm very political and opinionated - but I'm also VERY open minded. I love to debate and argue, but I almost never get angry while doing so. -ON TO THE PROFESSIONAL TDOG- I do session work and am a working musician. I taught high school drumlines for awhile and did/do private lessons, but I can't deny that my heart is more into performance and writing more than anything else. I love to teach, and I love the kids that I have taught, but when I play - I have no one else to worry about, I just enjoy myself...Huh? What's that? Oh, Yes, thanks for asking, I am in a kickass rock band...our name is Everlasting Earle . We have a profile up on myspace, check it out. Also check the webstie, www.everlastingearle.com. I play music because I love it, I like the way it makes me feel , and it makes other people happy as well...win win...and it makes it alot easier to get women...I, obviously, love music, I love art and literature, I love the theatre, I get enjoyment out of anything artistic and expressive...I can listen to Mussorgsky or Brahms then turn around and listen to Tool or Led Zepplin or Outkast...I love my family and I'm very proud and protective of them...I have an older brother and an older sister...my brother has a wife and two beautiful girls...My dad is an eccentric old bald fisherman who never fails to entertain...my Mom was a beautiful woman who taught me everything I know about music, life, and how to be a man...we lost her to breast cancer in 2003, but she lived a better life than the majority of people I have met. My friends are very large parts of my life...for me to truly bring you into my confidence is no small thing for me...ok, this thing has become moronically long...anything else you want to know, just ask - I love answering questions....

all music really, kinda comes with the territory of being a musician and a music major.....so i'll do a breif breakdown...rock(zepplin, floyd, doors, alice in chains, prince, stone temple pilots, moroon 5, pearl jam, ect..) i was raised in hair metal , and then grunge was the style when i hit high shchool...i also love funk(i.e. george clinton, the time,ect..) jazz(mangione, puente, 4play) classical(shostakovic, mussorgsky, brahms, mozart), so on and so on....Madison Scouts 2003

Forgotten Realms stuff is really good...anything with Drizz't Du'Ourdon in it. Anything having to do with the Drow really, im all into the darker side of literature. I also like the Incantation series. But my favorite book of all, is the Dictionary.....love those big words.

Heroes:

Kevin Smith, Carter Beuford , Jim Yakas, Tito Puente, Max Roach. And most of all....my mother. The single bravest person i've ever known. I wouldnt be the man i am today had it not been for her. I'll always miss her.
