Professional musician (guitarist,double bass, vocal) Over the years I toured Europe, South Africa, Middle East...I started as a guitarist of my first band, Rock Therapy, in Belgrade (the city where I grew up) in 1990. In '92 the band decided to leave the country as we didn't want to go to war and we took 'the last train to Zurich.' Next destination was Barcelona and its absinthe soaked clubs and bars...Before I moved to London, I played with a well known Croatian band Kojoti and after 3 albums released for Croatian branch of Warner Bros,I moved to my next project The Cool Shakes, an international band made of musicians from different parts of Europe. After their first album, band continued working in the UK. In 2005 I've met Sonny West (who at the time played for Morrissey, ex Smiths) and together we made The Congo Faith Healers (myspace.com/thecongofaithhealers) which has a reputation as one of the best upcoming UK bands. This exiting and culturally diversed band brought a new sound to the London circuit which was a mix of blues, gypsy jazz and r'n'r. In the short period, the band grew rapidly and we achieved the cult status. BBC Radio 2 and Mark Lamar invited us on his show where we performed live few times and that drew attention of wider audiences including top producers,Chris Kemsey (his previous work: few albums of Rolling Stones; Jimmy Cliff...) and Steve Booker (Duffy).Bands like Franz Ferdinand and K T Tunstal became friends and fans and invited us to open various shows for them (incl. gig at Union Chapel for Radio 1 with KT Tunstal) With this band I switched to double-bass. There is also a new young band which I joined recently, The Spyders(myspace.com/thespydersuk) We just finished live recordings and our focus is on playing live as much as possible. The band is doing extremely well and attracting variety of fans all around the world. Last month I passed the audition and joined the Slammers Maximum Jive Band,they were looking for a new guitarist. The band is busy touring, in last 3 weeks we played major London clubs like 100 Club and Pigalle, toured Ireland and Paris (Disneyland)and ended the tour in Santander, Spain. Band is slowly getting ready for recording their third album.
