The Willeys play original music and contemporary covers that feature a creative blend of traditional music with the best of American rock and folk. Danceable, well-crafted songs with meaningful lyrics that has been dubbed “Folkwave”.Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the band has played in finer clubs throughout the Midwest for over ten years and has 4 CDs to its credit. Recent concerts include The Venetian Festival in St. Joseph, MI, Spring-Tune-Up Concert in Kalamazoo, Mi, sponsored by the Great Lakes Acoustic Musicians Association, the Calder Festival in Grand Rapids, MI, and the Wheatland Music Festival in Remus, MI.
