David Palmgren was born in Minneapolis and moved to New York City ten years ago to follow his dreams. After building a successful career as a DJ working in large clubs like Avalon and Duvet, DJing for fashion shows and photo-shoots, David decided to go back to
school to get a degree from NYU (New York University) in Sound Design. His passion for music made him feel an overwhelming need to compose his own songs.Currently David is in charge of SMC Creative Inc's music division which specializes in music production and sound design. You can hear some of David's original songs in GQ Taiwan's Super Male Models of 2008 video, where all the music was composed by and edited by David. David was also the DJ during the photo-shoot for the story keeping up the crews'
energy, during what was a very long day.
