What really needs to be said here? First off, I'm a happily married Christian stay-at-home mom. I have been married for four years to my wonderful husband Daniel. We have one little boy named JD. He is two years old and is the coolest kid ever.

We attend Joshua's Place Church in Jackson, GA. Our church has a totally awesome Young Adults Group and this is just the coolest thing around. *wink* Our MySpace page is #2 on my friends list. Be sure to check it out and add us to your friends list.
I've always been a Believer, I just never understood the concept of living my life for God and putting God first in everything I do. Though it can be hard ... It is so worth it.
My life and my faith dramatically changed in December when my cousin Jessica was hospitalized with kidney failure. I immediately dropped to my knees and began praying. It was such a rough time for everyone in my family. However, my tough time was spiritual.
Jessica and I frequently talked about God and church. She LIVED HER LIFE for Jesus and had a dramatic impact on people around her. Many of her friends were saved because she told them about Jesus; that was her gift.
When she was hospitalized and was going through all she was going though, her testimony and my family's faith moved me.
Sadly, Jessica went to Heaven on January 22. A few days before her death, I really began to question my faith in Jesus. Through lots of prayer, late night calls to friends and lots of bible study I found peace with the situation.
When Jessica passed I had a peace come over me and I had accepted what happened. Now, it's hard to deal with and I often find myself saying out loud, "Did this really happen".
But all things happen for a reason and to bring Glory to God. Instead of dwelling on her death, I chose to celebrate her life! She inspired me to want to do more for Jesus and be more like her. She loved everyone. She had such a happiness in her laugh and in her voice. I would only be so lucky if I could be half like her! :o) I miss her terribly and cry often because I just want to call her. But my life is richly blessed for having her in it.
Her funeral is the point to this story. Oh my goodness at the lives Jessica touched! There were so many people there! And not only did the preacher know Jessica very well but he talked about her life in such a way that made you smile and giggle. He spoke of her good works for the Lord and how much she loved her family and friends. It made me think of the things that will be said at my funeral. It made me think of the person who will preach it. Will it be someone one who knows me? Will the things said be true? What do you want said at your funeral? It gets me thinking about that christian song ... "I wanna leave a legacy. How will they remember me? Did I choose to love? Did I point to You enough to make a mark on things?"
