How Does One Acquire the Blues?

About Me

Born into Blues legacy, Zack Bramhall's voice of "velvet gravel" has been amazing blues lovers for over a decade. Father Dale Bramhall and twin Doyle have held longstanding careers as blues songwriters and musicians. Through the 1990's Zack and brother Josh toured as the Bramhall Brothers, the name of Dale and Doyle's band in the 60's. They cut their teeth in the highly competitive Dallas music scene. There Zack won write-ups such as "the biggest lungs in Texas" - {The Dallas Observer}. They released a self titled album in 2000 featuring legendary drummer Charles "Sugar Boy" Meyers, drummer for Freddy King. This album contains originals by the duo as well as covers of greats like Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, and Albert King. In 2002, Zack released a solo album, "Zack Bramhall Live" at the Eureka Springs Blues Festival. After some time off, Zack is back this year with a new band, new sound, and a new tour schedule. This year, he can also be found recording his new album. Pimp-My-Profile
