About Me

I'm Lauren and I must say, I am pretty damn great if I do say so myself! I lead a simple life... which mostly involves spending time with all my wonderful friends and boyfriend - Mr Jordan Brook - who's pretty amazing =D This mostly involves parties, nights in town (aka getting a bit pissed), girly sleepovers and picnics to name a few! I have a great family who make life fun and a brill lil' sis! I'm currently making plans for what should hopefully be a brilliant summer! A sunny hol with my bestest bud Suz, maybe a drunken few days with the wonders that are Jess, Rachel n Rosy, another wine fuelled water fight with my cathikins and then bbqs, picnics and hopefully much more! Then I'll hopefully be off to the new, scary world that is geography at Nottingham Uni! I spend much of my time at the wonderful Greenhead College which, despite all the hard work, is usually good fun! I especially look forward to Geoggas with Beka, Tasha n Jenny who never fail to keep me entertained! Geology is usually a good giggle with Jess n Joe and me n Lucy spend most of history in hysterics! General studies is also bearable with Rosie, Sally n Matthew's pasty shoes! The highlight of my college days has been the geoggas n geology trips! Can't beat Preston-Montford n Arran and Iceland was the coolest place ever! Sunny days in Greenhead Park are also great and life in the main hall is always interesting... even if I spend most of my time fighting off abuse from Alex, Scott n Will! I also enjoy my free periods with Naomi, Charlotte, Claire, Belinda n Annie! All that leaves to mention is my job selling stationary at the exciting world of Partners. This is often as boring as it sounds but we do get some nutcases and stopping the chavs from buying permanent markers is always fun! Life at Partners would not be quite the same without Jess who is always ready to strap her wrists together with masking tape and make envelope towers with me! So that's my life... Movies:

I love funny films and the good old girly film. I love Pirates of the Caribbean, Stardust, Enchanted, Borat, Shrek, Moulin Rouge, Harry Potter, Notting Hill, Gone with the Wind, Pretty Woman, Pride and Prejudice, Ace Ventura, The Untouchables and A knights Tale. Monty Python, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Ice Age are pretty great too! And obviously i do love a good musical - WICKED WAS THE BEST -or disney films!

Television:

Doctor Who, Grey's Anatomy, Robin Hood, Skins, The Mighty Boosh, Hollyoaks, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Shameless and Friends. I also liked Green Wing, Father Ted, Vicar of Dibley, Little Britain and Phoenix Nights. I loved Casanova, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice and Teachers as well!

Books:

I'm afraid i'm quite the Harry Potter fan! But i also love Dan Brown, Phillipa Gregory, Jane Austen and William Nicholson's Wind on Fire trilogy! My favourite book ever is Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor but i also loved Stardust, Marley & Me, Catch-22, Gone with the wind, Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell, Labyrinth by Kate Mosse, the Wind in the Willows, To Kill a Mockingbird, Atonement, Chocolat, and Jane Eyre!

Heroes:

This i can't seem to answer, and will have to think about another time when i can be bothered! It's really bad that i can't think of anything isn't it! erm cathy said i could be one of hers so i suppose she can be one of mine.... if she has to be!But i really ought to think about this a bit more...
