About Me

Jon Liebman - Vocal/HarmonicaJon Liebman, born and raised in Atlanta, started The Electromatics out of the retirement of Stoney Brooks and Juju Root. Jon has been playing music professionally for twelve years and got his musical start in Washington,D.C. There he studied with players such as Big Joe Maher, Joe Stanley, John Cocuzzi, Doug Jay, Pete Kanaras and Mark Wenner of The Nighthawks, and others. In Atlanta he has and continues touring and performs many local shows with Tone Cool/Artemis recording artist Sean Costello. He has shared the stage on many occasions with Atlantas own Francine Reed. He has recorded with Bill Sheffield on his album Live at the Blue Raccoon and on his newest album Gotta Gig, Gotta Go, Larry Griffith on his album High Wire Walkin, Forrest McDonald on his album Colorblind, Sean Costello on his album Cuttin In and his newest Delta Groove release, Lee Griffin and many others. The Electromatics bring a unique style combining Jump Blues, Chicago Blues, Standards, Jazz, and old school Blue Eyed Soul. The Electromatics have a long standing house gig at Beluga Martini Bar and still play at classic venues such as Blind Willies and The Northside Tavern..
