I'm not quiet, but I'm not outgoing. I just prefer to spend time by myself. I prefer logic over emotion, and I have no patience for personal drama.
In the end I can always find a piece of music to define my mood. It's the backbone of my life. I've found that when I can't define my mood it's because I'm listening to the wrong music. Once I find the right song, I can finally let it all out.
I keep myself really busy, and I like it that way. Between my full-time job, teaching at Barbizon, house/pet sitting, and some freelance sound design/engineering jobs, I've always got a job to do.
Then in my spare time I try to find some time to sing at church, play handbells, grow orchids, stay fit, experiment with cooking, and have a social life.
I try to take in some culture by going to the ballet, museums, concerts, and theatre as often as possible. (Whenever Cirque du Soleil is in town, I'm there.)
I hate silence. I have to have some sort of noise in the background at all times in my day. So, I always have music on. I don't like watching TV, but I'll turn it on when I need some noise.
