Not really a movie fan, although there's Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Fear and Loathing, and some old sci-fi movies.
Hate it but My Name is Earl is actually pretty damned funny.
I really like Stephen King as cheesy and cliche as it sounds, but I've actually read everything he's written except his autobiography. Dan Brown's good too, and Jean M. Aeul, and of course Hunter Thompson. I generally don't like non-fiction unless it's gruesome or about conspiracy theories. (and those might as well be fiction).
Mahatma Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, and Bob Marley would have to be the 4 I'd pick.
