Born and raised on the Jersey shore, Nicholas Ditri began his musical journey at the age of 7. With the help of his grandparents, he took up the piano and immediately took to playing the classics of Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and Cole Porter whose songs were usually sang by his favorite, fellow Jersey boy, Sinatra. By the age of 12 Nick had saved enough money to purchase some of his own DJ equipment and start doing local parties under the moniker "DJ Piklz" (which he still maintains today!). Ditri quickly found it easy to merge his piano skills and DJ skills into one art,.... PRODUCING.Nick currently works under his production company, Arkatone Music, which he co-owns, as well as Skyelab Studios to provide a new brand of music to those in search of their own sound. His specialties include pop, dance, and hip-hop but he is no stranger to classical scores or jazz arrangements. As a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in Contemporary Writing and Production, his skills are obvious at first listen to any one of his earth shattering tracks.Places you may have heard his work....
