Lars Lavendel is DJ ing for over 10 years now.
Startin' as a funk & party DJ, he learns early how to move the people
on the floor. Since the 'old days' he collects rare grooves & funkjazz records
from the 60tees & 70ees with fullest passion.
He was always inspired by the sound of gil scot heron, bob james or lalo shifrin.
After first club expieriences in the early jungle scene of berlin he starts to fall in love
with the new sound called Drum and Bass.
In the Year 2K he found together with friends the berlin based
collective
'Hightek Crew',which was the startup for his DnB career.
Its been the base for founding a own residency and of course
for finding the own unique sound.
With regular (monthly) events called Hightek Presha the Hightek Crew set's
standarts in upfront, but always soulful dnb sounds from berlin.
Together with their outstanding producer talent young ax (also from berlin)
they start to come more in rotation in the local & after a few releases
also in the international DJ bags. During this time Lars Lavendel play
in almost every relevant locationin berlin & germany:

Since 3 Years Lars Lavendel and the Hightek Members doin their regular partys
at the Waschhaus Potsdam close to berlin.
On every 2nd Friday the stage is open for new faces of the german DnB Scene.
With a clear vision of a funky drumsound, its always a unique musical expierience.
