We're going to be Amazingly Amazing

About Me

No longer a new attorney. I'm now a seasoned veteran with my first trial under my belt. Seriously though, I only have slightly more of an idea what I'm doing now than a year ago. Still working on the grown-up thing. I'll let you know how that goes. I love to read and have recently re-kindled my passion for it. My husband can barely keep me in boks. Working in the legal field, I don't think I'm too jaded yet. I still have my strong propensity for wanting to fuck the system. My knee is doing better though I will always question why I (an uncordinated, self-professed unathletic person) thought it was a good idea to go skiing. Well, you know what they say about mistakes . .

My Interests

Skiing is the devil. I love to read and cook. Food Network rocks. Can't get enough of everything real world or road rules.

I'd like to meet:

No new friends. I don't have time for new friends. I'm a crappy enough friend as it is.

Music:

The Beatles, Counting Crows, Live, R.E.M., U.2., Metallica, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Semisonic, Radiohead, The Eels, The Cure, Elton John, They Might be Giants, Duran Duran, Boy George and the Culture Club, Toadies, Coldplay, Three Dog Night, Supertramp, Chicago, Simon and Garfunkel, Sting, Pretty much any 70's or 80's. I mostly like particular songs and not artists.

Movies:

Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, the Scream Trilogy, any Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Four Weddings and a Funeral, the Blade movies (I know they're horrible, I'm a sucker for vampire movies, the cheesier the better), older horror stuff like Friday the 13th and Halloween, anything with Carey Grant and/or Katherine Hepburn, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Flight of Dragons, Watcher in the Woods, The Journey of Natty Gann, Clue, Miss Congeniality, Runaway Jury, the Mummy and the Mummy Returns, the Matrix movies, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, High Fidelity, Gross Pointe Blank, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Legally Blonde, Amelie, Crash

Television:

30 Minute Meals, $40 a day, Real World/Road Rules (alone or one of the challenge shows), Veronica Mars (this is the best show ever), Project Runway, I Love New York (hilarious), Best Week Ever, Made, True Life, Trick my Truck, The Soup, Iron Chef, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Teen Titans, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Drawn Together, Top Chef, Myth Busters, Man v. Wild

Books:

Anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Catch-22, Fahrenheit 451, Step Two Three, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, Wicked, Son of a Witch, the Stephanie Plum series (I know it's kind of stupid), the Harry Potter books (the last one made me cry), the Narnia books, the DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Digital Fortress, Scary Stories 1, 2, and 3, A Wrinkle in Time, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Confederacy of Dunces, anything by Anne Rice, The Sun Also Rises, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Napalm and Silly Putty, Animal Farm, 1981, I basically pick an author and read every book I can by said author, then get burned out. Hopefully that won't happen with Mr. Vonnegut. His books are some of the only ones that truly make me laugh.

Heroes:

The X-men, they're not just heroes they're super heroes.
