About Me

Started listening to the rock’n’roll and country 45’s of my older brothers when I was about six or seven ( 1957,1958 or so).Now that sounds like I might have been born somewhere in the USA or maybe the UK, but I was born in the north-east of Bavaria in southern Germany. In my hometown Amberg there used to be a US Army barracks (until the 90’s) and my brothers got quite a few 45’s from the soldiers serving there. I remember songs like ’Gunfight at the O.K.Corrall’ by Frankie Laine or ’Western Movies’ by the Olympics (with gun shots!), I actually was a Western Movie fan then! And of course Rock’n’Roll! Lots of Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Little Richard. Maybe the first record I remember putting on the turntable really a lot was ’Save the last dance for me’ by the Drifters, I must have been ten or eleven years old at that time! (to be continued!)

I made this music player at MyFlashFetish .com.

Got this beautiful new cassette player right here on my page!

The band songs on my new player were recorded at a birthday partyon March 28, 1998. It’s a quite sloppy kind of rock and roll, but the songs still mean a lot to me. The musicians are Bennie Kro...
