I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a 32 year old married female living and working in Birmingham. I am a Registered Polysomnograph Technician. I conduct sleep studies for clinical and research purposes.
If you look over to the left, I listed some things that I like. I REALLY love riding motorcycles. Most of my spare alone time is spent doing so. If you have any questions, just ask!
This poem was written by me out of extreme emotion about 10 years ago. It still holds a lot of meaning and a special place in my heart!
Untitled
Standing alone in the silent still of the night,
A warm, salty tear washes her cheek.
Love, hate, hope, and fear churn in her heart and soul
As she desperately attempts to fit together the pieces of her broken life.
One bright summer morning, she was given the most precious gift in all the world--
An overwhelmingly new, but grand feeling of love.
Not an ordinary love--
The love people search a lifetime to find.
What an indescribable, yet wonderful feeling, this love.
To find one's soulmate-- the ultimate worth.
To lose one's soulmate-- the ultimate tragedy--
A tragedy she had experienced.
A tragedy that crumbled her world
And left it naked and helpless in a pool of emotional turmoil.
Promises were made,
But all harshly broken.
Something in her heart and soul died with those broken promises;
Leaving an overbearing feeling of emptiness.
To know-- To trust-- To love-- all brutally stripped away;
Leaving a healthy heart sick and dying.
A heart that was once bursting with love-- with joy--
That was taken for granted and deceived.
That heart which now quivers with pain
And prays to live not another day.
That aching heart which causes the single tear to escape
And causes her to wonder what she has to live for.
She watches the lone tear as it falls from her face
And turns cold.
At this moment, a hand reaches out and catches the tear;
Making it warm again.
She slowly raises her head;
Her eyes meeting that of her friend.
As she is gently embraced in comforting arms,
She knows that she has something to live for.
Love-- A love different from that of her soulmate;
Yet, just as wonderful and worthy.
?? Which Of The Seven Deadly Sins Are You ??
You are... WAIT! - you're none of the Sins you're an Angel!Perfect, or close enough, and annoyingly so! Did you alwaysbehave so 'just right'. ARGHHH . You can annoy the hell outtapeople with your attitude, but no doubt your church is real happywith you. The positive side certainly outweighs the negative,after all, you do chores, are smart, are cute, do charity work.Least you know what a perfect saint you are. You just make the restof us sinners vomit. Perhaps you could break the rules once in a while, go wild - Eat an extra cookie or something.However - congratulations on being the most pure, of the entire human race.

Anger and being controlled

When you allow something/someone to make you angry-and particularly KEEP you angry, you allow that thing/person to control you. Being a pawn is way too stressful. Let it go.

Anger and Violence - The Ultimate Weakness

I know numerous people who have had/still have problems with anger. Most of these people would rather beat the hell out of someone who did (or they think did) something to them instead of sitting down...

Reply to someone else’s blog, but good advice to anyone!

Something else-people tend to get hung up on the bad or negative things in their lives. They whine and complain and allow themselves to be depressed or miserable because of all of the hardships or unp...

Maybe I will post more about the whole experience at a later point in time. We did get to talk to him a few days before he died. The viewing and funeral were quite an experience-not a pleasant one eit...

This actually was a "comment" to a friend's blog, but is kind of a blog itself, so I thought I'd post it here!   One of the many reasons I do not attend church is because of the people. There are...
