Sinoptic Music was created in 2002 when founders Ben and Steve saw there was a need for independent artists to unite in order to help them achieve more. By investing in pressing one album, the profit from selling that could be put towards 3 more albums. And the profit from those 3 could fund 9 albums, and by that time everyone involved would be making more money and spreading further. It makes sense and you know why? Because record labels will leave you with a tiny percentage of the total cash, and major British labels don't take risks with new music in Britain; but we all know something they don't, don't we.
With artists such as Agent Ling, Experimentality, AndyVirus, JND, Igg Melk, Freyed Knot and Ant Organge all working on albums for release, all we need is to keep growing and we need unsigned talent like YOU. No matter what your music, we want to hear it and we will probably want to push your music forward. The first Sinoptic Music release hit September 21st 2006, 1000 copies ran off with litho printing on a 4 page booklet, jewel cd case, barcode and copy-rights. Every artist releasing an album will be put out in the same high-quality way. Other options can be discussed.
