Started in 2005, Minutka Square is a solo project from Sweden dedicated to making electronic music with dark lyrics. The name comes from a crossroads in Grozny, Chechnya where some of the hardest fighting there took place in 2000. The lyrics tell stories of contemporary conflicts and neocolonialism, and Minutka Square performs wearing different US and Russian military outfits.
