Motown is back and The Carnation's garden is blooming blue-eyed sweet soul with a reggae twist. Based in Melbourne, vocalist/writer Zoe Kalenderidis combines her incomparable, soulful tone and ever-blooming lyrical and melodic ideas with stripped back, deep-rooted sexy grooves driven by the funky-ness of Luke, Collins, Clare Whitcombe, Patrick Kilby and Kumar Shome. With a debut EP out "Soul trigger" and a NSW tour under their belt, The Carnation Project is in full bloom. Their most notable gig supporting Funk'n'Stein (Israel) at the Prince Bandroom. Working with the fundamental theory that music connects people, The Carnation project always create a seriously knee-dropping funky vibe.Zoe Kalenderidis the vocalist/writer, is 24 years old of Greek heritage originally hailing from the south coast of NSW.
