I attend Florida A&M University. I am a Economics major.Tallahassee is known for the house party scene. Anytime during the weekend, FSU, FAMU and TCC students will throw a house party. You may have up to 30 parties on a Friday and Saturday night. I would say 85 to 90 percent of the time, you can walk into anyone house party and have a great time. Usually, I have friends that are with me. I never go to a house party by myself unless I know the people real well. For most of the time, the people are nice, they invite you to drink on their keg or liquor without paying. They just ask for donations.It has even gone to the point where individuals have come with creative and unique ways to let people know where parties are at. Using AIM, Yahoo Messenger, Party Hotline .'s, and other techniques.The crew and I, started a screenname called AIM underground850. We are not first ones to do this. We give the other company any Tally credit for it. We felt that everyone should be allowed to know where the party is at. We do not care about having a password, signing up for VIP, and being a member. We just want to let people know where different parties are being held. We decided to film the house party scene in Tallahasee. We were amazed at footage we got. The footage is real. It is not staged. We know there are other house party scene in other cities and states. I was at UF homecoming this year. I was impress with the party network there in Gainesville. I will make my way to Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa in the upcoming year to see how they do house parties. The footage we film will be on our website. We welcome other house party footage from other states as well. The underground850 also promotes other underground events as well. That information will be posted on the website.
