About Me

A harmonica haunts.
Lyrics like quick breaths of air.
A guitar builds into the twang of vocals from new Nashville artist: Stephen Belin. A native to the Central Florida area, Belin weaves a tale to be told. He lets you in through a door that might be closed. Hard-driving rock beats. Acoustic ballads. He will paint questions into the mind like color on canvas.
Stephen has been a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (04 & 05). Also, a recent 2008 semi-finalist.
In 2005, Stephen found himself hitchhiking with the ghost of Steinbeck; only to stop at a diner in Nashville, Tennessee and never leave.
The songs you are hearing were recorded in a garage in Tampa, Florida. Taking the name of the "Under The Garage Tapes," these will soon be available on iTunes. Be on the look out!!!!
Bones & Searching For Reasons were both recorded by Konrad Snyder and Zach Foco during the Fall of 2007. Many, Many, Many Thanks.
Stephen performs solo and with, the great outfit, The Minor Keys. Be on the look out for the band's debut EP OUT SOON!!!!
Another record of more material is currently in production in East Nashville and sounding incredible.
Of his new album, Stephen says, "I've been recording alot in East Nashville, songs, songs, more songs, wait just a few more."
