I'm a former waitress-bartender, full time mommy to Griffin, landlord and sometimes slumlord, and drummer of The Duke of Uke and his Novelty Orchestra. I grew up in Joliet,IL with my twin sister Racheal. Playing drums was my first love, an obsession that started in grade school. Books are my other passion. I also love old houses and working with tools. My husband and I spent almost a year renovating the house we live in before we got married. I have a new son and just celebrated my two year anniversary. My husband is a professional home inspector, carpenter, part time pizza delivery guy, and purveyor of all things cool or interesting. And he cooks. We have a crazy dog and two cats, three fish, a roommate named Gabe, and a father in law who spends a better part of the day in his bathrobe.
I'm a pretty laid back person but I'm not afraid to come out swinging. I think being yourself is the most important decision you will ever make.
